Role Description The Content Assistant supports the execution of AMO Denim’s content, social media, and influencer initiatives across all platforms. This role ensures a consistent and compelling brand presence while providing data-driven insights to optimize content and partnerships.
The Content Assistant works closely with the Art Director on visual content, collaborating on creative direction, content production, and campaign execution, and reports to the Sr. Brand Strategist on strategy, planning, and performance.
Key Responsibilities SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT EXECUTION
Coordinate and maintain the social media content calendar across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging channels.
Create and publish visually compelling posts, reels, stories, and short-form videos in alignment with brand guidelines.
Ensure all content adheres to brand voice, visual standards, and messaging.
Monitor social performance metrics and compile reports, providing insights to the Sr. Brand Strategist and Marketing team for optimization and planning.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Own day‑to‑day community management, including responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely, on‑brand manner.
Support community growth by engaging with followers, creators, and relevant accounts.
Flag community insights, trends, and feedback to the Sr. Brand Strategist and Marketing team.
INFLUENCER & PARTNERSHIP SUPPORT
Support influencer and brand ambassador programs, including outreach coordination, gifting, shipping, and asset tracking.
Ensure influencer content aligns with AMO’s brand voice and visual standards.
Track influencer content performance and share analytics and insights with the Sr. Brand Strategist and Marketing team.
Maintain organized records of influencer contracts, assets, and usage rights.
Support content production, including prop sourcing, styling coordination, and shot list creation.
Execute on shoot days by capturing behind‑the‑scenes content, ensuring assets are on‑brand.
Assist in post‑production organization, ensuring all assets are properly uploaded, named, and filed for cross‑team accessibility.
Assist in executing content for social, email, website, and other marketing needs.
Own editing for all assets (cropping, retouching, formatting, text overlays, etc.).
PERFORMANCE TRACKING & INSIGHTS
Track and report on social, content, and influencer performance metrics.
Provide insights to inform ongoing content strategy, influencer partnerships, and creative direction.
Stay informed on platform trends, emerging formats, and competitor activity.
OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
Support testing of new content formats, features, and platforms.
Assist with campaign timelines, deliverables, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Perform additional marketing and content support tasks as needed.
Skills & Experience
1–3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or content creation
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest and emerging platforms
Basic video and photo editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Suite, Canva) and comfort using an iPhone camera
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt tone to brand voice
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
Proactive, collaborative, and solutions‑oriented mindset
Strong creative eye and awareness of social trends and innovation
Genuine interest in fashion, culture, aesthetics, and digital storytelling
