Job Details:
Locum Tenens assignment covering inpatient consults, ED consults, and transfers
ERCP preferred
Board certification required at minimum certified level
ACLS certification required
Facility is a Level 3 Trauma Center
Required procedural skills include:
Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices
ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) - diagnostic and therapeutic
PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)
Esophageal dilatation, manometry, and manometry interpretation
Small bowel biopsy
Lower GI endoscopy including flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy
Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) preferred
Liver biopsy
Insertion and management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
Fellowship training required
