Position Summary:
A growing post-acute medical group is seeking motivated Primary Care Physicians to provide on-site medical care in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Care settings. This position offers strong autonomy, high earnings, and minimal call responsibilities in a structured and supportive environment. The incoming physician will enjoy flexible scheduling, independence, and the opportunity to take on Medical Directorships across multiple facilities.
Position Highlights: Monday-Friday schedule with flexible rounding
Average 15-20 patients per day
Minimal call (typically 2 nights and 1 weekend per month; call can be sold to other providers)
2-3 openings available
Optional Medical Directorship opportunities with monthly stipends
Responsibilities: Deliver primary care and ongoing management for post-acute and long-term care patients
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
Order and review labs, imaging, and diagnostics
Prescribe and manage medications
Collaborate closely with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and facility staff
Qualifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
Active or eligibility for a Massachusetts medical license
New graduates accepted with relevant facility-based or geriatric experience
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a post-acute environment
