with local ties and a strong interest in radiology. This practice boasts a strong team of fellowship-trained radiologists and established APPs who are
very willing and fully prepared to train
the right candidate. Position Overview Role:
Full-time, permanent position in Interventional Radiology. Location:
Wildwood & The Villages, Florida (Sumter County) Schedule:
Excellent work-life balance with a standard
Monday Friday
schedule. Team:
Collaborate daily with top-tier interventional radiologists and a highly supportive clinical team. Key Responsibilities Perform and assist with image-guided procedures, including thoracentesis and paracentesis. Manage the placement and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters, and ports. Conduct CT-guided and ultrasound-guided biopsies and other minimally invasive procedures. Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations for hospitalized patients. Attend daily rounds, communicate patient status information effectively, and document progress in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Develop collaborative patient treatment plans and educate patients and their families regarding discharge and follow-up care. Qualifications Active (or eligible to obtain) Florida state license as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP). Current BLS/ACLS certification. Previous experience in radiology, surgery, ER, or critical care is preferred, but
new graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Proficient in utilizing EMR systems. Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.
