Responsibilities
Maintain, install, update, and secure network environments using Cisco IOS, Cisco Routers, Layer 2 and Access Layer Switches, Cisco ISE, Firepower, ACI, F5, PaloAlto, VMwareNSX, SPLUNK, ACAS, and ServiceNow. Assist in planning and executing network improvements and upgrades, and produce documentation for project continuity and compliance with DISA STIG validations.
Configure and deploy network devices with minimal downtime, coordinate authorized scheduled interruptions, and generate after‑action reports detailing installations, faults, and troubleshooting efforts. Perform cable management and collaborate with developers to create workflows for Cisco‑based assets in ServiceNow, and utilize ACAS to monitor and secure network assets.
Maintain network and personnel security, manage access control, process service requests, and resolve trouble tickets. Maintain architectural and operational diagrams and develop standard operating procedures for network device setup and troubleshooting.
Perform occasional after‑hours and weekend work to support service outages. Provide monthly reporting to the COR‑appointed Technical Assistant (TA) on tasks, projects, device security validations, and other critical metrics.
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Intermediate proficiency level IAW DoDM8410.03.
One of the following 8570IAT‑II certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP.
Current Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) certification.
Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
At least 3 years of DoD network engineering experience or 5 years total network engineering experience.
Experience managing Cisco Routers and Switches, Cisco firewalls (Firepower), Cisco ACI and ISE, PaloAlto firewalls, SPLUNK, ACAS, WhatUpGold, F5, VMwareNSX.
Experience using Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to carry 40 pounds and work occasional after‑hours and weekend work to support service outages.

Pay Range $109,000 - $121,000
