Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and five (5) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required.
Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in modern operating systems and network architectures.
Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in certification and accreditation, architecture development and design, risk assessments and IA metrics gathering.
Ability to optimize system operation and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
Ability to break down complex problem space, formulate technical strategies, build action plans, and track progress against established baselines to resolve technical challenges and meet customer expectations.
Configuring and managing Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems and installing/loading operating systems software, troubleshooting, maintaining integrity of and configuring network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Managing virtual servers through VMware and similar hypervisor products.
