Responsibilities
Grow sales within assigned territory of landscape distributors, public agency, and contractor customers in partnership with our field sales team.
Build strong customer relationships through virtual executive overviews, product demos, and trainings.
Analyze distributor performance e.g. (sales volume, product mix, market share) and co-create growth targets for distributors to earn applicable incentives.
Support sales and marketing leadership with designing compelling promotional marketing campaigns and one time offers to drive in-the-door sales for distribution customers.
Be a product expert for Rain Bird’s Central Control solution and increase user adoption, data renewals, customer retention, and grow overall connected hardware business for assigned customers.
Travel up to 10% may be required to attend customer meetings, internal trainings, and/or industry events.
Minimum Qualifications
3-4 years of experience in sales as an Account Manager, Account Executive, Inside Sales Rep, or related roles with a track record of achieving growth targets.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
You are comfortable making customer calls, managing customer meetings, challenging the status quo, and open to coaching to support development.
Desired Qualifications
Proficient in using sales engagement tools to manage sequences, tasks, follow-up actions, etc.
Familiarity with MS Power BI and ability to analyze data to inform business decisions.
Ability to demonstrate active listening, and critical thinking to come up with compelling reasons for customers to promote Rain Bird products.
Desire to grow your career and assume roles of greater responsibilities.
