Job Description Hello! Reaching out as one of Swoon's biggest clients within the natural gas and energy industry is actively seeking an experienced Network Engineer who can work with networking equipment, mainly from Cisco, to help manage the flow of data within the company and between different sites.

Contract Duration: 12 months
Work Schedule: Hybrid, Monday - Friday, including on - call responsibilities when needed
Pay Rate: $45 - $51/hr

What will you be doing?
Maintaining the integrity and functionality of the organization's network infrastructure, particularly in cloud environments.
Working regularly within different cloud environments including AWS or Azure.
Proficiency in route and switch operations in a medium to large enterprise network environment, with a preference for Cisco-based systems.
Taking on any on - call responsibilities for PPL as needed.
Qualifications:
Degree in IT, or 4 - 6 years of relevant experience, or at least 8 years of experience if no degree.
Experience with Data Center Switching (Cisco ACI a plus), Firewall (Cisco FTD/Palo Alto Enterprise) BGP, Cloud integrations (Azure, or AWS).
Cisco certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP, etc)
