San Jose, CA & Seattle, WA Flexible work from home days We are looking for an engineer to spearhead our Brand Ads forecasting initiatives. You will be leading a group of talented engineers in developing world-class advertising products and technologies. Your work will have a direct impact on billions of dollars in revenue and shape the industry's landscape through complex technical challenges in infrastructure, algorithms, and machine learning. Key Responsibilities: Applying statistical or machine learning knowledge to solve forecasting problems used by advertisers to make ad spending decisions. Translating business questions and concerns into specific quantitative questions that can be answered with available data using sound methodologies. In cases where questions cannot be answered with available data, work with engineers to produce the required data. Retrieving, synthesizing, and presenting data in a format that is immediately useful to answering specific questions or improving system performance. Applying statistical or machine learning knowledge to solve specific business problems. Minimum Qualifications: Deep domain knowledge in the field of forecasting Strong technical capabilities in data Client Preferred Qualifications: Experience in ads bidding, ranking, and retrieval, ads forecasting is a strong plus Expertise in large-scale ads delivery, recommendation, or search is highly desirable Proven track record of working closely with product and product marketing teams is a plus Background as a data scientist or applied scientist working in forecasting Skills and Certifications: Machine Learning Algorithms Deep Learning
