Responsibilities
Personnel performing in this position shall be an experienced and motivated information technology (IT) professional with the necessary skills to support AFLCMC/C3B by independently executing IT/Systems Administrator tasks in a classified work environment.
Support the implementation, configuration, operations, and maintenance of multiple classified and unclassified networked systems.
Plan, coordinate, and install applications software and hardware for multiple classified networked systems.
Define/resolve information technology issues; provide troubleshooting/Helpdesk support to all ABMS assigned personnel.
Maintain inventory control records for all IT equipment, to include current and future inventory; this includes new software and networks.
Oversee the installation and configuration of applications software and the establishment of user environments.
Manage installation of system patches and enhancements/updates and ensures system integrity is not compromised.
Provide proactive consultation and instruction with system users to ensure seamless implementation of changes.
Provide secure video teleconferencing (VTC) support.
Qualifications
12+ years of relevant System Administration for DoD networks.
Security+ Certification
Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, FTP, SSH, IP CONFIG)
Experience in Technical Support, Cloud Computing, Information Security, and Compliance
Installing, configuring, and managing network switches and routers (versed in OSPF, MPLS, SDN, routing/switching on Juniper and Cisco hardware platforms)
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required with 16 years of Sys Admin experience or Master’s Degree with 12 years’ Sys Admin experience.
Clearance Requirements
Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.
At least 12 months of Special Access Programs (SAP) experience within the last 3 years.
