Job Details Location: Gutterguard Birmingham, Hoover, AL 35216 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 Base + Commission per year Travel Percentage: None Job Category: Sales Role Summary We are looking for a Sales Manager with outstanding people skills to enhance the culture of our office. The Sales Manager will partner with the GSM to oversee and lead the activities of the Sales Department. This is an active field role; the Sales Manager will operate outside the office. Supervisory Responsibilities Involved in the hiring and training of local sales staff. Organizes and oversees schedules, leads daily runs, and is responsible for the performance of the sales team. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Involved in the discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. Duties & Responsibilities Provides leadership to the sales team. Motivates and encourages sales team to ensure quotas are met. Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets. Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts. Assigns leads and enforces set quotas for sales teams; assists sales reps that need training or extra help through mentoring and positive feedback. Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs. Helps resolve customer complaints, sales staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations. Collaborates with VP and executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies. Prepares sales budget; monitors and approves expenses. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Education and Experience At least three years of sales experience required. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting, driving, standing and climbing ladders along with the ability to effectively work on a computer. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
