The Information Technology Department is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Junior Systems Administrator. This is a full-time position and will report to Director of IT.
Responsibilities
Hardware Support, including but not limited to:
Windows 2022 server (Back up, performance monitoring, logon scripts, print queues)
PCs (NIC, RAM, Hard Drive, Images, Windows 10/11 OS, advanced troubleshooting)
Print servers
Data sources: ODBC Connectivity, SQL databases
Ability to understand data structures and locate necessary information.
Network Support Including: WAN, LAN, cabling, routers, hubs, switches and ports
Active Directory administration
Software Support and Installation as needed
General IT Support: Provide Primary point of IT Support contact for campus associates
Prioritize IT Support requests to best meet needs of the campus. Utilize bug tracking tool to keep log of activities
Applications support, including both decentralized and centralized technologies
Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork
Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct
It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business
Qualifications
Bachelor degree or Associates’ degree in Information Systems preferred
Some work experience in IT related role
Proven Customer Service skills with willingness to help all levels of employees
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and in teams as needed
Self-starter with high motivationThe ability to handle multiple responsibilities, manage projects and prioritize to best support the organization
Proven record of success in a team-based environment
Ability to see complex issues through to completion, including ownership of follow up and escalation
Flexibility to change direction quickly
Track record of continuous skills improvement, especially in the IT field
Ability to obtain DoD issued security clearance
Pay and Benefits Pay may range from hourly Pay may range from $25.00 to $35.00 hourly. The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
Base salary is one component of your total rewards package.
