ResponsibilitiesPrepare federal and state individual and business tax returnsCommunicate directly with clients regarding tax status and documentationIdentify and apply tax strategies to reduce or defer tax liabilitiesAssist with audits and tax authority correspondence as neededCollaborate with team members to ensure accurate, timely filings
Requirements1–3 years of recent experience preparing individual and/or business tax returnsExperience with commercial tax preparation software (Drake Tax preferred)Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentialityAbility to manage multiple clients and deadlines
Preferred3+ years of tax preparation experienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience researching tax code
