Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach to managing tenant relations, property maintenance, and financial responsibilities, ensuring seamless and efficient property operations. This role requires strong communication skills, a firm understanding of property management processes, and the ability to navigate challenges with professionalism and decisiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and property owners, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.
- Coordinate and supervise property maintenance, repairs, and inspections, ensuring all issues are addressed promptly.
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution with professionalism and fairness.
- Manage lease agreements, renewals, and the full move-in/move-out process.
- Monitor and track rent payments, addressing overdue accounts promptly.
- Maintain detailed and accurate property records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal property laws and regulations.
- Oversee all property-related financial transactions, including insurance, tax payments, and HOA fees.
- Represent property owners in legal matters, including court appearances as necessary.
- Handle Certificate of Occupancy (CO) repairs and coordinate with Homeowners' Associations (HOAs) as required.
Requirements Qualifications:
- Residency in the United States is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in property management.
- Extensive knowledge of New Jersey landlord-tenant laws is essential.
- Proficiency in AppFolio property management software with at least 3 years of experience.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
