High Impact Program (HIP!) Student Nurse Aide Trainee

Verona, PA Casual, Non-exempt; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 3:30 p.m. 7:30 p.m.

Pay: $18.00/hour

Program is a one-of-a-kind, on-the-job training experience for high school students that will prepare you to sit for the CNA certification exam while providing an opportunity to work part-time in a hands-on learning environment that will give you a solid foundation of knowledge, skills, and confidence as you grow into your career.

Requirements for the High Impact Program (HIP!) Nurse Aid:

Be a current high school student who is at least 16 years old.

• Have a minimum GPA of 2.50 and basic computer skills.
• Maintain compliance with all Nurse Aide Training program policies including:
• Attendance Policy
• Completion of all program hours; including classroom, laboratory, and clinical time.
• Dress Code policy
• Level of Achievement Policy
• Academic Honesty
• Test/Exams
• Skills Lab
• Clinical Guidelines
• Program Evaluation
• Successful completion of the CNA Class and, when eligible, the CNA Exam
