We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a medical leave. This role is ideal for someone with strong AP knowledge, excellentorganization skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of invoices in a professional office environment.
Contract Details:
• Expected length: 16 to 18 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Work environment: In-office role
• Pay: $24 to $26 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
• Prepare invoices for accounts payable processing
• Scan mail and invoices and route them for processing
• Retrieve invoices from vendor websites and email inboxes
• Assist with a high volume of invoices, averaging 100 to 150+ per day
• Answer calls and provide support to the AP team as needed
• May assist with invoice processing based on performance and workload
Qualifications:
• Accounts payable experience and understanding of AP processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Internet proficiency and ability to retrieve invoices from multiple sources
• Experience with ERP systems preferred
• Experience with AP automation tools
• Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and professional
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a small team
Additional Information
• Candidates must be able to commit to the full duration of the assignment
• Microsoft Teams interviews will be conducted prior to hire
• Business casual dress code
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check, credit check, and drug test
