Role Summary This Developer role requires a mixture of technical skills and business ability. As a member of the Application Integration team, this person is expected to grow into being one of the ‘Experts’ in the TOP department. This person will utilize their extensive background in various systems to first conceptualize the business need then work with the team to design and implement solutions. The position will be responsible for the specification, development and implementation of various Technology Operations and Presentation development projects, including cloud technologies such as AWS and Service-Now, and building serverless integrations using AWS Lambda to connect and orchestrate workflows across multiple systems. The role also involves Service‑Now and AWS management, collaboration with other developers and specialists, and working with vendors and consultants on new implementations and enhancements. The position will help design and develop MCP services to enable reliable, secure integrations and reusable service components across the ecosystem. A solid background in programming and code work, such as Visual Studio based reporting, is important. The role will document all work and assist in training where required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work with stakeholders across Cinemark to establish solutions to technical challenges. Capture requirements and develop specifications for new dashboard and report projects. Develop specifications and perform coding for TOP projects. Design, develop, and deploy AWS Lambda functions to integrate with internal and external systems, including event‑driven and API‑based workflows. Develop and maintain MCP services to support integration patterns, shared capabilities, and scalable service‑to‑service communication. Build solutions using Python and Node.js (JavaScript), following best practices for testing, logging, monitoring, and secure coding. Perform maintenance, investigate issues and recommend corrective actions for software applications. Work with vendors and department members to design, improve, or debug software applications used by Theater Technology and Theater Operations. Manage various projects, ensuring they are implemented on time, within budget, and meet customer approval. Be available to assist in emergencies and travel as needed. Perform any other duties deemed necessary. Education and Skills Required College or university degree in Management Information Systems or a similar discipline. 5+ years of experience working on software implementation projects (creating or modifying software applications). Minimum of 5 years in software and reporting development. Experience in software development and proficiency in various development environments, data structures, and systems. Experience with AWS, including AWS Lambda (serverless) development and integrations. Experience developing MCP services (or similar microservices/service components) to support integrations and shared capabilities. .NET development using VB and C#. Experience with structured and unstructured data. Expertise in SQL queries, SSRS, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Familiarity with the Microsoft SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS, T‑SQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DAX. Experience with development and administration inside ServiceNow. Node.js / JavaScript / Python proficiency. Familiarity with REST and SOAP API integrations. Proven communications and problem‑solving skills.
