Hardware Software Integration Engineer Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Hardware Software Integration Engineer to join their team. You will be part of the Hardware Software Integration department supporting vehicle development and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
Location: Foster City, CA
Pay Range: $74/hour + Benefits
What's the Job?
Lead and drive debugging of hardware-software issues to resolution, ensuring reliable vehicle operation.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Develop and refine test plans and specifications to support manufacturing and vehicle assembly processes.
Create test automation and utilize analysis tools to enhance debugging and test coverage.
Design new processes and workflows to improve fleet stability and operational efficiency.
What's Needed?
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
Minimum of 2+ years of relevant industry experience in hardware, firmware, and software integration.
Experience with hardware interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, USB, UART, LIN, I2C, SPI, and related testing/debugging tools.
Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages, along with familiarity with version control and debugging tools.
Ability to determine root causes of complex issues and communicate findings effectively.
