The State of Michigan is looking for an IT Security Analyst 3. Top skills and years of experience include: 6+ years experience with IT security and auditing. Expert knowledge around NIST Controls and ability to perform risk assessments. Ability to coach/train other team members to help improve the process. Excellent communication skills. Will work as a liaison to bridge the gap between technical and business audiences. This role will be customer facing. This position will close submissions on: 2/27 at 10am EST. Interview process: Virtual interview via MS Teams video. Please use a laptop and be prepared to share your screen if asked. Use of headphones is strongly discouraged. A screenshot photo of the candidate will be required for any interviews as well as a vendor present at the beginning of the virtual interview to validate the candidate. A second round onsite interview may also be requested at the manager’s discretion. Duration: 1 year with possible extension. Remote or On-site: Candidates must be local to the greater Lansing, MI area. Manager is not interested in candidates who need to relocate at this time. Will need to be onsite starting day 1 for a hybrid work schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION.
