Position Overview KUSA KTVD-TV, TEGNA's NBC affiliate, seeks a creative Multi‑Market Digital Sales Manager (MMDSM) to join an elite sales team. The role involves growing digital revenue, developing digital sales skills for Account Executives and Account Managers, and driving team performance to achieve market objectives.
Responsibilities
Build strategies to generate and achieve digital revenue goals.
Recruit, retain, and train top‑performing sales talent on TEGNA’s digital products.
Lead a team of an Account Executive and an Account Manager and manage dotted‑line reports.
Coach sales staff, participate in client meetings, develop proposals, and act as digital‑solutions subject‑matter expert.
Identify market potential through lead generation and qualification.
Analyze accounts to maximize marketing execution, and complete reports and forecasts.
Develop strong local client relationships and ensure high‑level service to all accounts.
Review and adjust metrics to monitor sales and market‑share changes.
Requirements
5–7 years of successful digital sales and account engagement experience, including 2 years managing a team.
Track record of exceeding sales goals in digital media advertising (including OTT) in dynamic environments.
Leadership skills with ability to develop elite sales and customer‑service teams.
Strategic thinker who can make data‑driven recommendations to senior management.
Strong presenter and communicator with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to foster an inclusive, positive work culture.
Proficiency with MS Office, Google Analytics, Wide Orbit Sales, Salesforce, Wide Orbit Traffic & Analytics, ComScore, Matrix, Media Monitors, Tableau, and qualitative data platforms.
Superior multitasking, deadline‑meeting, and adaptability skills.
Effective problem‑solving ability.
Current driver’s license is required.
Reports to the Director of Sales.
Position is bonus‑eligible.
