Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Hybrid work schedule eligible, at least three days onsite.
Position Summary The Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, security, optimization, and operational reliability of MOPOP’s enterprise systems and core technology infrastructure. This role manages servers, cloud platforms, identity and access management, enterprise applications, integrations, backups, and other business‑critical systems that support organizational operations and guest-facing experiences.
As the primary technical owner of the systems environment, this position partners closely with IT leadership, vendors, and cross‑functional departments to maintain secure, scalable, and high‑performing technology solutions aligned with organizational priorities.
This role plays a critical part in infrastructure reliability, cybersecurity, enterprise application support, system lifecycle planning, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives across MOPOP’s technology ecosystem.
Essential Job Duties (other duties as assigned) Infrastructure & Systems Administration
Manage and maintain physical and virtual servers, including patching, updates, monitoring, and performance optimization
Administer Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), identity management systems, and access controls
Administer the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related services
Manage backup systems, perform data restores, and ensure data protection integrity with partnership of the Network Administer
Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and overall system health, including alerting and logging systems
Maintain system security posture, remediate vulnerabilities, and support endpoint protection platforms with partnership of the Network Administer
Participate in incident response investigations, audits, and security reviews
Manage Single Sign‑On (SSO), Conditional Access policies, MFA, and authentication systems
Maintain system permissions, access controls, audit logging, and compliance standards
Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows to improve operational efficiency
Maintain infrastructure documentation, diagrams, standards, and operating procedures
Follow and enforce change management processes
Manage infrastructure lifecycle planning, including hardware and software refresh cycles
Coordinate vendor support cases, renewals, and licensing compliance
Evaluate and recommend infrastructure improvements aligned with the organization’s technology strategy
Enterprise Systems & Business Applications
Serve as the primary administrator and technical owner for enterprise systems and business‑critical applications across the organization
Manage and support CRM, POS, ticketing, digital asset management, SQL, and other operational platforms
Maintain system integrations and ensure reliable data flow between platforms and services
Coordinate application updates, testing, troubleshooting, and vendor escalations
Support application security, permissions, access management, and compliance requirements
Assist in evaluating, implementing, and optimizing new technology systems and SaaS platforms
Monitor application performance, uptime, and overall system health across organizational systems
Support reporting platforms, backend services, and application‑related infrastructure dependencies
Maintain documentation for enterprise systems, configurations, integrations, and support procedures
Participate in technology projects, migrations, implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives related to organizational systems
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, systems administration, and business‑critical technology environments
Experience administering Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity/access management platforms
Experience supporting Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, or equivalent), and cloud‑based infrastructure services
Experience managing enterprise applications such as CRM, POS, ticketing, ERP, DAM, SaaS, or operational business systems
Experience supporting system integrations, data flow management, and application connectivity across platforms
Experience with cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, MFA, Conditional Access, and system hardening
Experience with backup, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and recovery testing procedures
Experience supporting SQL Server environments, reporting platforms, backend application services, or enterprise data systems
Experience developing automation scripts and operational workflows using PowerShell or similar scripting tools
Experience working within change management, governance, compliance, and technical documentation frameworks
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across infrastructure, applications, and enterprise systems environments
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and operational responsibilities simultaneously
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments, vendors, leadership teams, and external partners
Experience supporting technology operations in multi‑site, guest‑facing, nonprofit, museum, entertainment, or cultural environments is a plus
