Role Overview We are seeking an Associate Data Operations Engineer (DataOps) to support the reliability, availability, and operational efficiency of enterprise data platforms and production data workflows powering our healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) applications.
This role is responsible for monitoring and supporting production data operations, troubleshooting data and platform issues, supporting cloud-based data services, and ensuring stable execution of business‑critical data pipelines and integrations.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, foundational experience with relational databases, cloud data platforms, and data operations, automation, and distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and support production data pipelines, ETL processes, and operational data workflows
Support enterprise data platforms and services built on:
Microsoft SQL Server
Amazon Relational Database Service (AWS RDS)
Microsoft Fabric
Microsoft OneLake
Investigate and resolve production data issues, ETL failures, data inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks
Analyze SQL queries, stored procedures, and data processing workflows for troubleshooting and optimization
Monitor system health, job execution, alerts, and platform availability using:
Site24x7 or other observability and monitoring tools
Support deployment validation, operational readiness, and production release activities for data‑related changes
Collaborate with engineering, analytics, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve operational issues and improve system reliability
Assist in maintaining operational documentation, support procedures, and data runbooks
Develop and maintain basic automation scripts and utilities using Python or PowerShell
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and on‑call support activities as needed
Required Technical Skills
Good understanding of relational databases and SQL, preferably Microsoft SQL Server
Exposure to cloud database and analytics platforms such as:
Amazon Relational Database Service (AWS RDS)
Microsoft Fabric
Microsoft OneLake
Ability to analyze SQL queries and troubleshoot data‑related issues
Basic understanding of ETL/data integration workflows and distributed systems
Familiarity with cloud platforms:
Amazon Web Services
Microsoft Azure
Experience or exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as:
Site24x7
Grafana / Application Insights / ELK (preferred)
Basic scripting or automation knowledge using:
Python
PowerShell
Familiarity with Windows Server environments is preferred
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
Good communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or exposure to healthcare or RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) platforms
Understanding of APIs, batch processing, and file‑based integrations
Exposure to production support, operational monitoring, or data platform support environments
Familiarity with data quality, reconciliation, and validation processes
Knowledge of CI/CD and deployment practices for data platforms is a plus
