Aortic stenosis affects millions worldwide and is often under‑diagnosed. Edwards pioneered transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), providing a life‑changing, non‑surgical solution. Our Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business unit partners with clinicians to transform patient care with evidence‑based devices. Role Overview The Manager, Data Analytics analyzes large internal and external datasets to uncover insights that shape and influence the THV business unit strategy. This onsite role (four days in the office, one remote day) is based out of the Edwards Corporate Campus in Irvine, CA. Responsibilities Interpret large clinical datasets and data models to design and build solutions that solve key business challenges. Lead the design, development, deployment, and ongoing improvement of data products created from clinical and claims datasets. Drive insight generation regarding patient pathway and outcomes. Craft and shape the strategic narrative and supporting datasets for Quarterly Business Reviews, delivering clear, data‑driven insights directly to executive leadership. Analyze complex clinical data to improve business operations and influence business unit strategy. Collaborate with internal data teams to build clear, user‑friendly business dashboards that translate operational metrics into easy‑to‑understand insights. Perform incidental duties as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Minimum 8 years of relative experience in data analysis and business intelligence. Master’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, plus a minimum of 6 years of experience (preferred). Preferred Qualifications Experience in Med Tech, Medical Device, or adjacent commercial analytics. Hands‑on technical expertise with Snowflake, Power BI, SQL, and Excel. Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute work effectively. Advanced understanding of quantitative methodologies, techniques, and tools used to build best‑in‑class analytic solutions. Experience with relational database systems. Ability to develop and support compliance processes and procedures. Excellent documentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive progress toward objectives. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and to proactively escalate issues to the appropriate level of management. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Thrives in a collaborative environment – able to build and manage relationships with team members, managers, suppliers, vendors, and/or customers. Commitment to following all company rules and requirements, including pandemic protocols and Environmental Health & Safety rules, and to taking appropriate measures to prevent injury, protect the environment, and prevent pollution within the scope of influence and control. Compensation & Benefits For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $121,000 to $171,000 for a highly experienced candidate. Pay will depend on qualifications, education, and prior experience.
