This Role Is About Building Leadership Capability, Workforce Stability, and Operational Consistency.

A well-established, operationally driven organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to help strengthen leadership support, improve workforce consistency, and build scalable HR processes that support long-term business success. This is not a transactional HR role. This is a highly visible leadership position for someone who understands how to support operations, influence leaders, improve accountability, and create practical HR solutions that drive business performance. The successful candidate will serve as both a strategic business partner and a hands-on leader, balancing long-term planning with day-to-day execution.

The ideal candidate is comfortable spending time in the field supporting managers and employees while helping drive organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, talent strategy, organizational structure, and leadership development.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers while addressing workforce challenges.
  • Support employee engagement, succession planning, retention, and performance management initiatives.

HR Operations & Process Improvement

  • Develop and improve HR processes, SOPs, policies, and programs that support organizational growth.
  • Strengthen accountability, consistency, and operational discipline across the HR function.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Compliance, Analytics & Systems

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Oversee HRIS reporting, workforce analytics, dashboards, and employee documentation.
  • Provide leadership with actionable workforce insights and recommendations.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • 5+ years of HR leadership experience.
  • Experience supporting operational, field-based, industrial, construction, manufacturing, logistics, or similar workforces.
  • Strong employee relations and leadership coaching experience.
  • Experience building HR programs, processes, and organizational structure.
  • HRIS experience required.
  • Strong reporting, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting multi-site operations.
  • Multi-state HR experience.
  • Experience supporting organizational growth and change management initiatives.
  • SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR certification.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

  • Combination of office and field environments.
  • Regular travel to operational locations throughout the region.
  • Occasional after-hours availability for urgent employee matters.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
