Job Title
This position resides within the Secretariat for Special Operations (SSO), Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (OASW(SO/LIC)). Under 10 U.S.C. 138 and 167, the ASW(SO/LIC) is the principal civilian advisor to the Secretary of War for special operations and oversees SOF readiness, resources, equipment, and civilian personnel.
