The Climb: Leadership Accelerator

The Climb: Leadership Accelerator is a fast-track development program designed to identify and develop proven leaders into Operations Specialists (Shift Leader) within an accelerated timeframe.

This program exists to meet a critical need: building strong, capable leaders who can execute at a high level and lead teams effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Unlike the standard development pathway, this program is:

  • Accelerated (89 months vs. 1.52 years)
  • Performance-based (not time-based)
  • Selective (designed for experienced leaders only)

This is not an entry-level development path. It is a fast-track opportunity for individuals who have already demonstrated leadership and are ready to be challenged.

Who This Is For

This program is designed for individuals who:

  • Have prior leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Have directly professionally led teams of 515+ people
  • Are comfortable holding others accountable
  • Are eager to grow quickly and take on responsibility
  • Have open availability
Minimum Requirements:
  • 1 year of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience (shift lead, supervisor, team lead, etc.)
  • Ability to work both Front of House and Back of House
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Willingness to be coached and developed
This Program Is NOT For:
  • Individuals seeking quick promotion without proven leadership experience
  • Those unwilling to work both FOH and BOH
  • Candidates with limited availability
  • Individuals who struggle with accountability or feedback
  • Struggles to work in a fast paced environment
Expectation
  • Maintain open availability throughout program and first 4 months of leadership
  • Strong attendance and reliability
  • Limited time-off flexibility during the first 60 days
  • Willingness to work both FOH and BOH
  • Consistent demonstration of Team Behaviors
  • Accept and apply feedback quickly
  • Maintain performance under pressure
  • Lead by example at all times

Program Structure

The Climb is structured into three developmental phases over approximately 89 months. Progression is based on performance, not time. Participants will receive incremental raises as they advance through the process. Starting pay will begin at $20.50 and successful competition of the program and promotion to Operation Specialist will be paid at $24.

Phase 2: Restaurant Impact

  • Food Production & Throughput

Phase 3: Restaurant Influence

  • Train others to mastery

Phase 4: Leadership Application

  • Help impact business goals, coach and develop team members
