Cleans, decontaminates, sterilizes and maintains instruments in good working condition Assures all instrument trays are assembled properly and content is correct Flash sterilizes instrument sets as necessary Documents and maintains sterilizer load information Documents and maintains sterilizer Biologic testing records Maintains all sterile processing equipment Maintains supply inventory in the scrub sink area Assist with preparation and cleaning of operating rooms between patients Performs other duties as assigned Maintains established Center/departmental policies and procedures Maintains confidentiality of patient and Center related business Develops and maintains an effective working relationship with patients, families, visitors and other Center employees Documents concisely, precisely and accurately on all records or documents as indicated by policy.
#USP-123 #LI-CM1 Required Skills Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED Completion of a Sterile Process Certification Program preferred One to two years’ experience as an Instrument Technician in multiple specialties Sterile Processing certification required BLS certification required.
