Position HighlightsHours: 32 hours per week Position Summary The Perinatal Outpatient Clinician provides assessment, psychotherapy, care coordination, and support services to individuals during pregnancy and the postpartum period. This clinician works with patients experiencing a range of behavioral health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment challenges, substance use, relationship stressors, and complications related to pregnancy, childbirth, infertility, loss, and early parenting. The clinician collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams, referral sources, medical providers, and community partners to support the emotional well-being of patients and families in a compassionate, trauma-informed outpatient setting. Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related behavioral health field required Current licensure or license-eligibility (e.g., LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist) in CT Knowledge of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and maternal mental health Experience with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and interdisciplinary collaboration Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have excellent writing and communication skills, be highly organized Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered, and culturally responsive care Preferred Qualifications: Perinatal mental health certification/training (such as through Postpartum Support International) or specialized training or certification in perinatal mental health Experience working with perinatal populations strongly preferred Experience working with trauma, attachment, and/or family systems Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy Experience collaborating with medical providers Bilingual or multilingual skills Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, attachment-focused, or trauma-informed interventions Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+ Comprehensive Benefits OfferedCompetitive and affordable benefits package Shift Differentials Continuing Education assistance Tuition reimbursement Student Loan relief
