Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced AI Data Engineer with strong coding and scripting expertise to build scalable data platforms and pipelines that support Machine Learning and Generative AI applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong software engineering background and hands-on experience with cloud-based data ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT and data processing pipelines. Build and optimize data infrastructure for AI/ML workloads. Develop feature engineering and data preparation frameworks for model training. Implement data quality, monitoring, governance, and automation solutions. Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to deploy AI solutions. Optimize performance of large-scale data systems and databases. Must-Have Skills:
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or AI Data Platforms. Understanding of
MLOps, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases . Must have strong hands-on
coding
and
scripting
expertise with a passion for building scalable data platforms Strong programming skills in
Python
and
Java/Scala/Go . Advanced scripting expertise in
Python, Bash, and Linux environments . Strong SQL and database optimization skills. Hands-on experience with
Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Databricks , and distributed data processing. Experience with
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , including
BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Vertex AI , and Kubernetes. Industry Experience: Experience working within finance or data-heavy business environments is preferred to understand the context of the data being visualized and communicated.
