Key responsibilities include, but are not exclusively: Program Leadership & Governance Structure • Establish and lead a structured governance model for enterprise data domains. • Oversee multiple concurrent and interdependent initiatives within the data governance program. • Partner with divisional PMO to maintain alignment with corporate standards and project methodologies (PMP fundamentals). • Develop and manage integrated program roadmaps and milestones. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and risk/issue logs. • Manage project budgets in compliance with CAPEX and OPEX rules, including reporting on financial progress and forecasting. • Facilitate steering committee meetings and prepare concise, executive-ready communications and decision summaries. • Ensure critical milestones (including July 1 segmentation requirements) are met.
Business & Commercial Coordination • Coordinate closely with Sales, Commercial, Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to align data standards with business realities. • Facilitate structured decision-making forums to define customer segmentation, product hierarchy, and SKU governance standards. • Ensure changes to data structures do not negatively impact compensation planning, quoting processes, reporting, or revenue recognition. • Translate business requirements into structured governance and implementation plans. • Provide context-driven communications to business leaders, emphasizing business impact rather than technical process.
Data Governance & Operationalization • Define sustainable governance processes for customer and product master data. • Establish clear ownership, change windows, and approval workflows for data updates. • Ensure that decisions made during design phases are embedded into ongoing governance frameworks. • Eliminate local variations and duplicate structures that create reporting inconsistencies. • Align data definitions to corporate EDW/CDW standards.
Systems & Implementation Oversight • Coordinate system updates across SAP, Salesforce, and associated data platforms. • Oversee implementation, integration, testing, and validation activities. • Ensure system changes align with defined business governance processes. • Protect operational continuity during deployments. • Partner with IT and data teams to maintain cross-system consistency.
Operational Risk & Revenue Protection • Identify and prioritize data issues impacting billing, shipments, and revenue. • Address discrepancies (e.g., duplicate accounts, segmentation mismatches, hierarchy inconsistencies) that create operational inefficiencies. • Proactively escalate risks that could impact financial performance.
Change Management & Communication • Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy. • Define regulated change windows for hierarchy and segmentation updates. • Deliver proactive stakeholder communications to manage expectations and reduce disruption. • Build alignment through storytelling and contextual framing of change.
This is a full-time role so 35-40 hours/week, 9-5 but on occasion due to time zones, earlier or later as required. Remote position
