Job Title: Medical Assistant Profession: Medical Assistant Specialty: Clinical / Administrative Support Desired Location: Flushing, NY Duration: Contract (13 Weeks) Job Summary The Medical Assistant supports clinical and administrative functions in a healthcare setting. This role involves assisting providers with patient care, performing routine clinical tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during visits. Take and record vital signs and patient information. Perform basic clinical procedures as directed. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health systems. Assist with scheduling, front desk duties, and general administrative support. Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared. Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members. Schedule & Work Environment
Day shift, Monday through Friday Standard 8-hour shifts Outpatient clinical setting Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Ability to communicate fluently in Mandarin and English Preferred Qualifications
Medical Assistant certification such as: CMA from American Association of Medical Assistants RMA from American Medical Technologists
1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant
