Data Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). This is a hybrid position where the employee will work both from home and from the anticipated worksite, and must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the worksite. Develop and maintain applications using Data warehousing, ETL, Informatica IICS with Teradata, Oracle SQL/PLSQL or MS SQL Server. Enhance testing frameworks to ensure code quality and develop CI/CD pipelines for automation. Ensure the developed code and practices align with Ford Standards and Policies. Automate performance monitoring and notification in the event of failures using best practices and tools. Work in a small agile team to deliver working software and adopt Extreme Programming (XP) practices like paired programming and mobbing. Take time to continuously learn and share with peers by playing roles of mentee and mentor during delivery. Contribute to the strategic development and implementation of AI solutions, supporting the building, validating, testing and deployment of AI/ML applications at Ford. EOE.
