Location: Lansing, MI (Candidates must be local within 90 miles at the time of application)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Non‑Negotiable) | Onsite Tuesdays & Wednesdays; Remote Mondays, Thursdays, & Fridays
Schedule: EST Shift
Key Skills & Qualifications To be successful in this position, you must have:
Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst.
Methodologies: 5+ years of hands‑on experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
Requirements Expert: 5+ years of experience gathering requirements and writing Epics, Features, and User Stories.
Process Mapping: 5+ years of experience mapping current‑state (As‑Is) and future‑state (To‑Be) workflows.
Highly Preferred: Prior experience working within public sector or state‑level environments.
Core Responsibilities
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with cross‑functional teams (UI/UX, Developers, QA, Architects).
Document clear, unambiguous, and testable business requirements.
Maintain and prioritize the project backlog alongside the Product Owner in Agile sprints.
Analyze complex data and system processes to assist with Build vs. Buy decisions.
Interview Process
Format: 60‑minute Virtual Interview via MS Teams (Video required).
Setup: Candidates must join via laptop and be prepared to share their screen.
Note: Identity validation (including a screenshot photo and vendor introduction) will occur at the start of the interview.
