Entry-level sales position
Location: Fort Pierce, Florida
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Entry-Level Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at a reputable Caterpillar dealership at our Fort Pierce location. Sales area will include Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River counties. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with new and dormant accounts to drive sales growth and maximize revenue. Your primary focus will be on promoting Caterpillar products and services, meeting sales targets, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target new and dormant accounts within the assigned territory through research, networking, and referrals.
Sales Presentations and Product Knowledge: Effectively present and demonstrate Caterpillar products, solutions, and services to prospective customers, highlighting their features, benefits, and value propositions.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline in the CRM system.
Customer Service Excellence: Ensure customer satisfaction and promote long-term customer loyalty.

Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Sales Experience: Prior sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment, is an advantage. Fresh graduates or individuals with limited sales experience are welcome to apply.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and persuasive presentation abilities.
Self‑Motivation and Drive: Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet or exceed sales targets in a goal‑oriented environment.
Customer‑Focused Mindset: Genuine passion for understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions to drive customer satisfaction.
Technical Aptitude: Basic knowledge or aptitude to learn about Caterpillar products, services, and industry‑specific applications.
Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple accounts, and meet deadlines.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and adapt to changing business needs.
Ethics and Integrity: Demonstrate high ethical standards, professionalism, and integrity in all interactions.
