The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Hart that are seeking skilled Materials Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, procurement, storage, and distribution of materials to support production schedules.
• Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Lead and mentor a team of materials planners, buyers, and warehouse personnel.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality departments to ensure material availability and resolve supply chain issues.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance materials management processes and efficiency.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to mitigate supply chain risks.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in materials management or purchasing within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex)
• Strong understanding of inventory control, forecasting, and production planning
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills

Salary Package: $ 84,000.00 - 124,000.00 (US Dollar)
