The Production Manager serves as an operational leader within the Production Gear, responsible for overseeing day-to-day production execution, performance, and accountability across all installation operations. This role develops and leads a strong, reliable team focused on delivering high quality work, maintaining positive customer relationships, and completing projects efficiently and on schedule. The ideal candidate is a practical, process driven leader who performs well in high responsibility environments, makes clear and timely decisions in the field, and consistently aligns people, resources, and capabilities to company growth goals. The Production Manager is a hands-on leader who partners closely with the leadership team to improve operational performance, eliminate constraints that limit flow of work to increase production capacity, and strengthen the systems that support day-to-day performance. Success in this role requires urgency, technical aptitude, operational discipline, and the ability to lead through metrics, communication, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and hold accountable all production personnel and field operations
- Drive production efficiency, scheduling, labor utilization, and project profitability
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to company quality standards
- Monitor KPIs related to installed volume, labor percentages, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Solve operational and field challenges quickly and decisively
- Maintain operational readiness of vehicles, trailers, equipment, and tools
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve production workflows and customer experience
- Build scalable systems and processes that support company growth and operational consistency
What You Offer:
- Leadership experience in construction, foundation repair, concrete repair, or related trades
- Associate or bachelor's degree in construction or business preferred and 2+ years of experience as a foreman/manager in the construction trades OR a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field
- Strong operational mindset with the ability to lead through systems, metrics, and accountability, supported by clear communication, strong problem-solving, and sound decision-making in fast-paced environments
- Experience managing crews, schedules, production timelines, and labor performance
- Ability to work effectively in physically demanding, high-output operational settings
- Strong technical understanding of construction operations, equipment, and jobsite execution, with comfort using digital tools and software for planning, tracking, and communication
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
