About the Role
Join our Adult Day Health team in Lawrence, MA as a Full-Time Cook, where your work directly supports the well-being of the individuals we serve. You'll coordinate menus, prepare nutritious meals, and help maintain a safe, organized kitchen environment — all while working alongside a dedicated care team.
What You'll Do
- Review menus and work orders to plan and prepare the right types and quantities of food
- Prepare, season, and cook meals; portion meat, fish, and poultry for individual servings
- Inspect food storage and ensure the kitchen and storage areas meet sanitary standards
- Coordinate kitchen staff activities during food preparation
- Plan and review menus and help assess food quantities, labor, and overhead costs
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure compliance with health and food safety regulations
- Perform other related duties as needed
What You'll Need
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of related cooking/kitchen experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish — required
- Ability to handle food safely and in compliance with health regulations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment
