Primary Duties and Responsibilities Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback as well as clarity on job responsibilities to team members Build and maintain strong relationships with key Navy accounts and Industrial clients Research market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats Implement a robust sales system with strong processes, standard work, data analytics and KPIs Lead costing and pricing efforts Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the sales team to drive performance and achieve sales targets Embody the Fairbanks Morse Defense company values of Integrity, Velocity and Teamwork
Qualifications and Educational Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience 6-10 years of relevant business background including sales, marketing, or product management A strong understanding of the market, products, service offerings and customer base or the ability to quickly learn Experience in development, implementation and execution of a sales strategy and system Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with customers, employees and sales representatives Very Proficient in Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc Strong interpersonal skills – active listener, clear and concise communicator (both oral and written); proven collaboration skills
