Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

Your expertise in hematology and oncology will be utilized in an outpatient setting, supported by a trauma level 3 facility. You will manage a diverse caseload, primarily focusing on solid tumor diagnoses, ensuring timely and effective patient management. The practice seamlessly integrates with the latest EMR technology (EPIC) to enhance patient care delivery.

Schedule and Assignment Details

Enjoy a flexible schedule with options for either a 4 or 5-day workweek, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. An administrative day or half-day is provided as needed, offering a balanced workload. Call responsibilities are shared on a 1:4 rotation, including one weekend per month, providing both professional engagement and personal time.

Support and Work Environment

You will be part of a well-supported team environment, collaborating with three experienced physicians and two advanced practice providers. The facility provides comprehensive medical support and resources, including radiation oncologists during your locum tenure. Benefit from a streamlined credentialing process estimated at 6-8 weeks, ensuring a smooth start to your assignment.

Qualifications

  • Board Certification in both Hematology and Oncology is required.
  • An active Oregon medical license is highly preferred.
  • CAQH login and password required at the time of offer.
  • DEA registration and recent NPDB self-query required.
