Locum Physician - Interventional Radiology

Join a dedicated team at a leading hospital in Lansing, Michigan, looking for a full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist. This facility offers a dynamic hospital-based practice with a supportive environment. The work schedule includes day shifts with Q3 call coverage, where you're supported by a skilled team of 3 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers (APPs). The hospital is a Level I trauma center, primarily serving an adult demographic, making it an exciting opportunity to advance your career in a bustling medical community.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including:
    • Angioplasty
    • Stent placement
    • Embolization
    • Needle biopsy
    • Thrombolysis
    • Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
  • Participate in Q3 call, covering every third weekday and weekend.
  • Collaborate with the interventional radiology team to provide high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (Required)
  • Active Michigan State Medical License (Required; compact license not accepted)
  • BLS and ACLS Certifications (Required)
  • Clean malpractice & license history (Highly Preferred)
  • Ability to commit to at least 2+ weeks of coverage per month (for travel providers)
  • Provide a copy of NPDB self-query (Required)
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Michigan State Medical License (Required; compact license not accepted)
  • Board Certification in Interventional Radiology (Required)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (Required)
