Are you a culinary visionary with strong leadership skills? McKnight Place Extended Care, a luxury senior living community at 170 & Delmar, is seeking an Executive Chef/Food Service Director  to lead our dining team and provide exceptional dining experiences.

Position Requirements:
We are seeking a candidate with:

• Formal training or extensive culinary experience.

• A minimum of 2 years as an Executive Chef or Food Service Director is required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with residents, families, and staff.

• Proven ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.

• Reliable transportation is required

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Dining Room Managers, Servers, Cooks, and Dishwashers.

• Recruit, train, and mentor the food service team.

• Develop creative, nutritious menus in collaboration with a Registered Dietitian.

• Maintain open communication with residents, families, and team members.

• Provide staff education to enhance service quality.

• Actively participate in care plan and management team meetings.
