Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer / Python Developer (Azure Cloud) for their Raleigh, NC/New York, NY location. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience 10+ years of proven experience as a senior software developer, including crafting and implementing sophisticated systems from scratch 5+ years of proven experience working with cloud technology (preferably Azure), data models, API design, API development 10+ years of data warehousing experience (Redshift or Snowflake) 10+ years of hands-on experience with SQL database design Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques 7+ years of extensive development experience with technologies like: Python Experience building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures and data sets. Agile development experience Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets Source 10+ years senior Data Engineers with strong Snowflake, Python, SQL, Azure, API development, and data warehouse architecture experience. Financial Services/Capital Markets domain is highly preferred. Avoid ETL-only developers, BI/reporting profiles, or candidates lacking deep Snowflake and SQL design expertise. Why Should You Apply?
