• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • CNA certification or equivalent certification is preferred. Equivalent certifications include: EMT, MA, Military Medic or completion of 1st year of nursing core classes (not prerequisites for nursing school). • BLS certification required within conditional period. Responsibilities • Answers patient call lights and performs appropriate follow-up in a timely manner. • Performs morning and evening ADLs (oral care, bathing, etc.). • Assists staff with repositioning and patient mobility. • Independently mobilizes patients. • Empties foley catheters, urinals, bedpans, commodes, urine hats and drains • Assists in preparation of patient rooms and admission and transfers. • Follows patient fluid restrictions and calorie count orders as delegated by nurse. • Assists staff with repositioning and patient mobility • Assures patients receive correct meal selections in accordance with provider orders About Boulder Community Health
