You Will
Play a key role in helping Gravie understand the performance of its business, identify new opportunities, and translate insights into solutions that improve health benefits and healthcare quality.
Ask and answer strategic questions: How are we doing? What should we continue doing? What should we stop doing? What should we start doing in the future?
Take ownership of regular deliverables for various business units, leveraging multiple technologies to produce consistent, accurate, and efficient solutions.
Assist in design and execution of diverse quantitative and qualitative analyses to support evaluation, management, and growth of products across the business.
Use analytic and communication skills to tell stories with data, transforming basic and complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical audiences to influence business decisions and product roadmaps.
Support a culture of data‑driven decision‑making within the organization.
Ensure Accuracy
Apply quality assurance measures to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of all analytical deliverables.
Platform Development
Contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of Gravie’s growing analytics platform by partnering with cross‑functional teams to integrate data insights into business strategies and product improvements in a robust and scalable way.
Collaborate closely with other analysts to share knowledge and best practices, fostering an environment of knowledge sharing and professional development.
You Bring
Bachelor’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Economics, or a related area.
1+ year(s) of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a related field.
Demonstrated analytical aptitude and problem‑solving skills, and experience working with real‑world datasets.
Ability to translate data into business impact by crafting clear, data‑driven narratives for stakeholders.
Quantitative proficiency, with a solid understanding of basic mathematical and statistical concepts.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, capable of manipulating and analyzing large complex datasets.
Experience using SQL to query databases and explore data.
Familiarity with Python, R, or another statistical programming language.
Excellent attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Habits of excellent organization, time management, and responsiveness.
Flexible attitude and ability to work independently with limited direction.
Appetite for learning and quickly applying new knowledge.
Commitment to Gravie core competencies: authenticity, curiosity, creativity, empathy, and results orientation.

Extra Credit
Background or interest in health insurance or healthcare.
Understanding of industry datasets (claims, EHR, etc.) or KPIs.
Benefits and Compensation The salary range for this position is $49,500 – $66,000 annually. Compensation considers education, skills, experience, certifications, and other factors.
