Job Overview Nebraska DHHS is searching for an IT Applications Developer to join the RPA Team in Lincoln. The RPA Developer provides technical support within the Robotics Process Automation (RPA) team. The RPA team is responsible for developing, maintaining, enhancing, and providing production support for automated processes across various departments and systems. This is a full‑time/permanent on‑site role in Lincoln, Nebraska. Responsibilities Collaborate with business analysts to gather system requirements. Conduct independent research on process enhancements and issues. Perform analysis and design of automated solutions. Program, test, and perform related tasks in RPA projects. Manage small‑to‑medium projects or components of larger projects. Engage directly with stakeholders at different organizational levels to identify effective technical solutions for business needs. Troubleshoot and debug web development and automation workflows to ensure properly functioning process flows and progress. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Experience, education, or training in coding computer applications. Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field, with experience, education, or training in RPA or relevant areas; experience working on small to medium sized projects; proficiency in RPA tools such as UiPath; familiarity with integration platforms and APIs; understanding of business processes across different domains; previous experience with Jira and Azure DevOps; familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines; experience with UiPath Orchestrator for managing and monitoring deployed robots. Other requirements: Consistent and punctual attendance. No remote/hybrid work; position is located on‑site at the Nebraska State Office Building in Lincoln. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated technical proficiency in all stages of RPA development, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment. Hands‑on experience with RPA development tools and technologies in an enterprise environment. Expertise in working with databases and data manipulation techniques. Expertise in integrating RPA solutions with other systems like web and legacy applications. Ability to develop technical documentation and design specifications. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a focus on achieving common objectives. Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within tight deadlines, particularly in support of complex automation processes.
