About the Employer This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Vivant Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
What You'll Do The Content Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for executing Alma Hotel's digital storytelling strategy through the creation and management of engaging content across all digital platforms. This role supports the Marketing & Guest Experience Manager by producing visual and written content, managing social media channels, fostering community engagement, supporting marketing initiatives, and ensuring brand consistency across all guest-facing communications.
Responsibilities
Creating photo, video, and written content for social media and digital platforms.
Managing and growing Alma's presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google Business Profile, and other channels.
Covering hotel events, restaurant activations, partnerships, media visits, and community initiatives.
Engaging with guests, followers, influencers, and brand partners.
Supporting marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, and revenue-driving activities.
Assisting with presentations, media materials, partnership proposals, and marketing collateral.
Collaborating with photographers, videographers, agencies, influencers, and local partners.
Monitoring trends, audience engagement, and content performance to continuously improve results.
Ensuring all content reflects Alma's brand identity and Marriott Autograph Collection standards.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in content creation, social media, digital marketing, or a related field.
Strong photography, videography, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
Experience managing social media platforms and content creation tools.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and occasionally attending evenings, weekends, and special events.
Hospitality, lifestyle, travel, restaurant, or luxury brand experience is highly preferred.
Benefits Salary: $30,000 per year
15 days of vacation per year, 12 sick days, 100% employee coverage under our medical plan, parking, a $50/month phone allowance, a birthday day off with a $50 bonus, holidays with a compensatory day off, and a 30% discount at our restaurants and on hotel stays.
Once the transition to Marriott is complete, the employee will receive all applicable Marriott benefits.
