Overview For this role, we are seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Analyst to join Epsilon’s Development Team in our Data Practice. In this role with our company, you will be focused on project tasks for Epsilon's TotalSource Plus (TSP) demographic and lifestyle products.
As a member of the Epsilon Data Team, you will work in a group that is not only focused on their project work but also their efficiency, compliance, standards, situational awareness, and readiness. You’ll be a critical part of a fast-moving, innovative team where you’ll work independently in some situations as well as working with a greater team in tasks that require full collaboration.
Responsibilities
Writing and testing Jira User Stories related to TSP data enhancements for each release cycle.
Performing data comparisons between different TSP releases using ETL tools, SQL, Excel, Access, and Hadoop. The overall TSP product has hundreds of millions of individual records and over 1,200 unique data elements.
Researching and reporting anomalies within the TSP data.
Collaborating with the Development Team that is responsible for code improvements for data changes.
Collaborating with the Product Management Team that is responsible for overall data and product strategy.
Working with the Source Prep Team that is responsible for processing data/transactions (billions of records) from Epsilon source data providers.
Monitoring and trending of data attributes.
Defining and updating data business rules.
Communicate issues to stakeholders effectively and in a timely fashion.
Qualifications About you:
1–3 years of experience in a technical data or marketing environment.
Performs effectively both collaboratively and independently.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Takes ownership of problems from identification through resolution.
Invested in team success and shared outcomes.
Motivated to build a long-term career with a growing organization.
What you’ll bring
BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience leveraging Hadoop/Databricks and ETL tools for project tasks in an enterprise environment.
Detail oriented and highly observant, with excellent organization and time management skills.
Highly effective communicator for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Analytical and curious mind with interest in interpreting data.
Enthusiastic about helping to deliver high-quality applications, and love to break things and track down bugs.
Ability to produce results amid multiple shifting/competing priorities.
Self-starter who will be able to work independently.
Passion for self-improvement and continual learning.
Agile experience a plus (Kanban, Scrum, etc.)

Compensation Range: USD $63,600.00 - USD $118,000.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
