Über
Responsible for selling and managing events from initial inquiry through contract execution. Handles full sales lifecycle including responding to leads, creating proposals, conducting site tours, negotiating terms, and finalizing contracts. Market predominantly social, focusing on weddings and celebrations ranging from approximately 100 to 400 guests.
This role is not responsible for event planning or on-site coordination of event details , and instead focuses on driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and ensuring a smooth handoff and communication process with internal hotel teams before, during, and after each event. The Event Sales Manager partners closely with Social Event Planning Managers and an assigned Event Coordinator to ensure a seamless client experience.
Position is on-site and not eligible for full-time remote work .
Qualifications
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Genuine passion for hospitality and exceeding client expectations in a fast‑paced environment
Prior event sales experience required; wedding or social event sales experience strongly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive
Proficiency with general computer applications
Minimum of two years of hotel or event‑related sales experience preferred
