Pay Details: The salary for the Sales Manager is starting at $64,480 / year (DOE) plus performance‑based bonuses

What You Will Do
Supervise the sales team's daily performance and/or targets.
Expand business by proactively building relationships with existing customers to meet the agreed‑upon production and active customer goals. Ability to educate and advise the customer on which products best fit their needs.
Coach members of the sales team to deliver a standard of customer care consistently.
Oversee the sales team to achieve operational targets by providing business plans and monitoring the performance of the sales team to ensure the specific portfolios of business performances are met.
Deals with any escalated customer service issues and questions that may arise.
Increases new business by initiating contact with prospects through local store marketing efforts, community involvement, cold calling (face‑to‑face and phone), quote calls, and walk‑ins to build interest, match needs with products and services, and close the sale to meet the agreed upon production and active customer goals.
Executes all aspects of Branch Operational Excellence (BOE).
Key Attributes
High school diploma or equivalent
Active Property & Casualty license
2+ years of Property & Casualty Insurance sales or service experience
3+ years of Staff Management experience
Minimum 1 year of Commercial Lines experience
Proven track record of the ability to generate new business sales, or retain existing business, or cross‑sell other lines of business
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work well on a team
Precise verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to deliver a tailored, white‑glove experience to all clients
Preferred Attributes
Bachelor's Degree
Experience handling multi‑carrier quoting preferred
2+ years of Commercial Lines experience
Prior Agency Owner
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
