Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement Java and AI‑powered solutions, and contribute to the creation and refinement of AI agents
Conduct systems analysis and programming for complex software applications with a focus on scalability and performance
Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML and identify opportunities to apply them to solve business challenges
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects, from conception to completion, with a focus on AI‑related initiatives
Implement and oversee project management techniques and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and manage project resources effectively
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team in Java, Spring Boot, Python, and AI technologies
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and technical requirements
Communicate project status, risks, and technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
Effectively manage and respond to unexpected changes in project requirements, timelines, or expectations
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, demonstrating the ability to work well under pressure
Thrive in a fast‑paced, innovative environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities with a calm and focused approach
Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
Operate with a limited level of direct supervision
Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications
5–8 years of relevant experience in Java and Python, AI tools, and Oracle PL/SQL
Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Compensation and Benefits Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $96,960.00 – $145,440.00. In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
